Built in 1592, the complex occupies a spot on the World Heritage List, along with several other hill forts in the region. Enter through the Sun Gate, a grand entryway to the fortress' main courtyard. Explore the many different sections within the walls, which include a temple and several halls with intricate ceiling decorations and expansive gardens. Don't miss the Sheesh Mahal section, which boasts a number of ornate carvings and artwork made from glass.   We liked this place a lot... Preserves old monuments is precious... Good please maintain the same. Take guide n see all places in this palace .. Different palace depends on climatic conditions, if its summer then King n Queen will be in different palace and if its winter they will stay in mirror palace. best is go with guide they will take to all place and will explain about the palace very nicely and you can come to know many historical stuff about this place and PALACE. Can see big vessels for cooking too... Still they preserve those stuff.

  This is place is simply great located on the top of a hill in the city of Jaipur. This was the home of King/Queen and family before they moved to City Palace located in the middle of the city of Jaipur. A very beautiful Palace with wonderful Architecture. This is quite a famous place in Jaipur and one of the must visit while here. It is quite easy to reach here from any where in the city, you might need too hire a taxi/auto-rickshaw to reach here. The scenic beauty is Superb here.There are beautiful gardens, courtyards and what not inside this magnificent palace. Loved it
