At Arambol Beach, you can experience the hippy atmosphere that has made this spot popular since the 1960s. Today, the beach appeals to international tourists with a knack for the bohemian. Besides enjoying the sea, you can explore the surrounding scenery that includes a jungle valley, half-salty half-freshwater lake, and a pilgrimage destination called Money Stone. Local markets ensure nobody goes hungry here, while waterfront cafes keep everyone properly hydrated. Once you get accustomed to the overall vibe, consider attending a psytrance or reggae party, or take a yoga class or a few art lessons. We make a big detour to arambol beach but to our regret is was not a success. Early Oct., no entertainment apart from bars on each other, Indian tourists, transat bcp... a dark brown sand beach see black, smells of waste... That's too bad.View original

Been here in monsoon. Many shopping centers are closed because of off season. There were a few food places where the price was decent. Playing with wakes is not encouraged, sea guards patrol here and warn you if you get into water. Calm enough to enjoy a walk and the cloudy weather makes it very pleasant. One biggest annoying thing are the ladies who try to sell you jewellery. Bargain with them a lot of you like such accessories.

Monsoon review... Not as happening as we heard of it. May be during summers there are lots of event happening there so it might be then but definitely not during monsoons. The beach sand is black. Very peaceful place. Should about traveling there during monsoons..
