Internationally revered as one of the top bird-watching spots on the globe, Keoladeo National Park occupies a spot on the World Heritage List. A patchwork of woodlands, dry grasslands, swamps, and wetlands, this 29 sq km (11 sq mi) park provides a protected sanctuary to over 364 species of indigenous and migratory birds, including the rare Siberian crane. Explore clearly marked trails, winding through a diverse habitat by foot or by bike, or hire a rickshaw for a tour with a local puller trained in bird-watching. October until March remains the most popular visiting time with ornithologists, as this is the migratory period for the majority of the park's birdlife. Bring plenty of water and don't forget your binoculars.   This palace is a breath of fresh air. The wildlife is wonderful , if you love bird watching and boat ride in a pollution free forest you should visit Baharatpur. It was really worth the time and money...  more »

  Visited the park in second week of october with somewhat cold morning till 9 am & hot climate in the afternoon. Did the morning safari a couple of days in the morning for 4 hours.I have stayed around ...  more »

  Really good for a day visit. It would be better if they had better cycles to rent. But still a great place if you enjoy nature even if you're not specifically a bird watcher.

  I will like this place if it doesn't have National park in his name. There is nothing here by which we can consider it as a National Park. Roads are not well maintained. Finding birds in this park are like finding a small black stone from a kg of rice. Although it have so much of greenery. You can rent bicycles. Overall not satisfied to me. It can provide much more facilities.
