Ferrymead Park features an early 1900s (Edwardian) township, with exhibits such as houses, picture theatre, school classroom, church, jail, railway station, lodge hall, post office, printers, tobacconist, general store, lawyer’s office and more.

There is also a large array of heritage museums and displays that are often open for viewing, particularly on Sundays. These museums are owned and operated by individual societies. Their own volunteer workers restore and display their collections, such as tractors, fire engines, aeroplanes, trams, trains, theatrical operations, mini rail, model trains, radios, photography and much more.

  For a dollar entry on the heritage week, how could it not be worth while, the barber was the highlight plus the ride in trams and trains.  more »

  The Park serves as Museum historical, very cute and quaint. It is worth going to the night fair with food trucks and music live.

  We really enjoyed our visit with our family from Australia. The volunteer's have done an amazing job keeping this place going and all the work involved. The price was very reasonable for a fun day out. I recommend you take a picnic as there plenty of space to enjoy the day 😃
