  Driving away from Akaroa we stumbled on these gardens. What a view over Littleton Harbour and the gardens were inspring. Only 2 gardens tend this amazing property, is is fantastic  more »

  This is the most delightful garden, set in a wonderful natural ampitheatre of the Christchurch Port Hills and Banks Peninsula. We have driven past Ohinetahi for 20 years without ever venturing down the driveway, but finally visited for the first time yesterday. It's a peaceful, slightly idiosyncratic (but in a nice way), beautifully presented property, where we spent a fabulous couple of hours, and could easily have stayed longer. It far exceeded my expectations.

  Lovely gardens with many interesting plants and sculptures. I would say that this would be a good recommendation for anyone who would like to spend a couple of hours walking through a large and beautiful garden. The sculptures are made by several different artists, and their presence really adds an interesting twist to the experience of walking through the gardens.
