Golden City of India

A World Heritage Site, the desert city of Jaisalmer has a number of historical attractions, buildings, and legends worthy of protection.
Get some cultural insight at Desert Culture Centre & Museum and Rishabhadeva Temple. Popular historic sites such as Jaisalmer Fort and Kothari's Patwaon-Ki-Haveli are in your itinerary. Spend the 13th (Sun) spotting exotic species with a safari tour. There's still lots to do: look for gifts at Jai Shankar Handicrafts, steep yourself in history at Tilon Ki Pol, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Jain Temples.
